You can view detailed accounts of how scientists first became concerned about global warming and how, in response to this, they began to collect data on historic global temperature levels, using methods such as radio carbon dating and ice core records. Alternatively, you may wish to buy the book (pictured right), which is a 200 page summary of the information contained on the website - based on more than 1000 peer-reviewed studies, but clearly written so that anyone can understand the history of this complex issue. |
